Berwick grateful for Handling brace
Danny Handling scored twice to inspire 10-man Berwick to a 2-1 victory over Peterhead.
The visitors leapfrogged their rivals into sixth place and put the disappointment of a 4-1 home defeat in their last match behind them.
Handling opened the scoring after 23 minutes, latching on to Lee Currie's cross from the right to fire past Paul Jarvie from the centre of the penalty area.
The home side equalised from the penalty spot after 49 minutes. Defender David Donald was brought down by Ross Gray in the area, leaving Rory McAllister to slot home.
Handling grabbed his second seven minutes later, picking up Steven Notman's pass and curling home from 20 yards.
Berwick's Jordon Forster was dismissed for deliberate handball two minutes later but his side hung on to claim the win.
