Quickfire goals see Peterhead home
Three goals in the first seven minutes of the second half helped Peterhead to a 4-2 away win at Elgin.
Andrew Rodgers fired the visitors ahead after 21 minutes, slotting home Rory McAllister's pass from 12 yards.
McAllister doubled the Blue Toon's lead a minute after half-time, smashing Graeme Smith's pass into the roof of the net.
Peterhead went 3-0 up less than a minute later as McAllister grabbed his second of the game with a sweet low finish into the bottom-left corner.
Dean Cowie put the visitors four goals in front after 51 minutes with a neat lobbed effort over Raymond Jellema in the Elgin goal.
However, the Black and Whites pulled back a consolation goal through Craig Gunn after 84 minutes. The striker fired home with a rocket into the top-right corner.
Sam Urqhart gave Elgin something else to cheer about late on heading in Ross McKinnon's free-kick in injury time to make it 4-2.
