Peterhead off top spot after day to forget
Elgin knocked eight-man Peterhead off the top spot in Division Three after a 2-0 victory.
Daniel Moore netted twice from the penalty spot as Callum MacDonald, Steven Noble and Scott Ross all saw red for the visitors.
MacDonald was dismissed for a professional foul on Stuart Leslie in the 57th minute, which gave Moore the chance to convert his first spot-kick with a low effort into the bottom-right corner.
Eight minutes later Ross Smith brought down Dennis Wyness in the area and Moore grabbed his second goal, this time firing his penalty down the middle.
Noble was then shown a second yellow by official Gavin Ross to reduce his side to nine men.
And Ross dished out a further red in the 89th minute, dismissing his namesake for a late challenge on Leslie.
