Turner topples Blue Toon
A brace from Kevin Turner helped East Stirling come from behind and move from the foot of the table with a 2-1 victory over Peterhead.
The Blue Toon took the lead after just two minutes when a poor tackle from East Stirling's Steven Jackson on Rory McAllister earned the away side a spot-kick.
McAllister stepped up and placed the ball into the bottom corner to net his sixth league goal of the season.
Turner bagged his first when his left-footed drive from inside the penalty area found the bottom corner to stun the visitors.
Stirling went ahead five minutes into the second half thanks to a stunning strike from Turner, giving him his fourth goal of the season.
Peterhead's task to get back into the game became even harder when Scott Ross was given a straight red card after upending Nathan Shephard in the 58th minute.
