Bavidge banishes Berwick
Martin Bavidge's late goal was enough to see off Berwick 1-0 as Peterhead recorded a third straight league win.
The visitors almost got off to the perfect start but for Jamie Barclay, who made a fine save from Bavidge's close-range header.
Barclay's opposite number was called into action just before the interval, but Raymond Jellema was equal to Fraser McLaren's effort from the edge of the area.
Chances remained few and far between in the second half, Conner McGlinchey up next to test Jellema just after the hour mark but he was denied by another good save.
James Redman came close to breaking the deadlock eight minutes from time, but Barclay produced another good stop.
The Borderers' keeper was finally beaten a minute later, though. Bavidge's header proved just too powerful as he picked out the top corner.
