Bavidge hamstrung for Blue Toon
The Blue Toon's attempt to move into second place with victory against Queen's Park has been dealt a blow with the news that striker Martin Bavidge has been ruled out with a hamstring problem.
Knee injuries sideline Callum MacDonald and Davie Ross while Scott Ross looks set to miss out as well with an ankle problem.
Peterhead boss Jim McInally said: "I always enjoying playing against Queen's Park as they play with an openness that is very welcome.
"We had a goalless draw with Stirling last week but to be fair to our players they created the game's only chances and looked very solid in defence.
"The same type of performance with a goal this time would be very welcome as would the three points it would bring."
Second placed Queen's Park make the trip north without Michael Keenan who is suspended following his sending off against Berwick Rangers last week.
Paul Gallacher will also be missing for the Spiders with a hamstring problem while Tony Quinn with a hip injury and their numbers are further reduced as Jamie Brough and David Anderson both miss out through work commitments.
Hampden head coach Gardner Speirs has added youngsters Bernard Coll, Conor McVey and Mark O'Hagen to compensate.
Speirs said: "Peterhead are a good experienced side who will be extra keen to beat us and move into second place.
"We are a bit low on numbers but our young players have never let us down when they have been brought in before and I am sure they won't on this occasion either."
