McAllister boost for Peterhead
Peterhead have striker Rory McAllister back to full fitness after recent illness and he will lead the line against promotion rivals Elgin.
McAllister has been restricted to a substitute's role recently after illness, however he has been firing on all cylinders in training to impress boss Jim McInally.
The Blue Toon boss will without new signing Ryan McCann who serves a suspension from his Ayr United days with Stephen Maguire missing out through work commitments and Graeme Sharp along with Davie Ross absent with knocks.
McInally said: "Rory has been working really hard to show his strength and looks ready for a return.
"This is a big game as it is a Derby match and also a win takes to within two points of Elgin with a game in hand."
Elgin manager Ross Jack adds fit-again Lewis Halford to the squad that lost 3-0 to Rangers on Sunday as they look to top the Third Division table.
Halford's availability has given Jack a full squad to choose from and he will decide on his line-up after checking out some minor injuries picked up at Ibrox.
He said: "There are a few boys still feeling the effects of that game which is not surprising as we put a lot into it.
"Both sides will want to win this game for local pride and also to establish themselves in the promotion-chasing pack.
"We could go top and it is a goal to aim for but I know it would only be temporary."
