New boy in for Peterhead
Reece Donaldson is in the Peterhead squad to face leaders East Stirling after joining on loan from Raith.
Fraser McLaren is available after a two-game ban but Callum Macdonald (knee), Ryan Strachan (ankle), Scott Ross (ankle) and David Cox (foot) are sidelined.
Manager Jim McInally said: "The Shire are a side that I admire as they have great experience and are really well organised by John Coughlin.
"Some people reckon their start was a flash in the pan but I don't. We will need to play well to win."
The Shire welcome back Paul Quinn from an ankle injury as they look for revenge for a 4-1 defeat earlier in the season.
A knee injury keeps Nathan Shepherd out and Max Wright continues to be missing with a hamstring problem.
Head coach Coughlin said: "We will have to play really well to beat Peterhead. When they are on song they are a formidable side and they are facing us after a great win at Elgin last weekend.
"We will need to battle for everything but we have players who can do that."
