Elgin and Peterhead target spoils
Elgin will be without five players for their northern derby with Peterhead in Scottish League Two.
Cieran McLean (foot) and Craig Gunn (hamstring) has been ruled out of the clash, joining Sean Crichton (shoulder), Brian Cameron (foot) and Paul Millar (knee) on the sidelines.
Speaking ahead of the encounter, manager Ross Jack has called for his side to stay ahead if they get ahead.
"We are in a habit where if we take the lead we are very poor at consolidating that lead. It happened in the cup against Dunfermline last weekend and has happened a few times in the league," he said. "Hopefully we can score and keep the opposition out in this game."
The Blue Toon have been boosted by the news that striker Andy Rodgers has been declared fit despite fears he would be sidelined for a number of weeks with a hip injury.
Jim McInally's side are already without the suspended Fraser McLaren as well as Callum MacDonald (knee), Scott Ross, Ryan Strachan (both ankle) and David Cox (foot).
However, the Balmoor boss is looking forward to his side's encounter.
McInally said: "Both sides are far from full strength however they will give it everything. These games take care of themselves as there is a strong rivalry. Whoever we send out will be up for winning the game."
